Artwork Intellectual Property Notice

This notice is to inform collectors, purchasers, and the public regarding the intellectual property rights associated with the artwork created by Deanna M Cordova. Deanna M Cordova retains exclusive ownership of all intellectual property rights, including but not limited to copyrights and any associated rights, in and to the artwork, regardless of the purchase or acquisition of the physical piece.

Ownership Rights

Upon purchase or commission of an artwork, the collector acquires the physical piece only and does not acquire any rights to reproduce, distribute, create derivative works, or otherwise use the artwork for commercial or non-commercial purposes without the explicit written consent of Deanna M Cordova. Posting images of the items purchased on social media is always welcome and does not breach this clause.

 

Commissioned Works

 

For commissioned works, Deanna M Cordova retains all rights to the artwork, including the right to display the work in portfolios, exhibitions, and promotional materials. The collector is granted a license to display the commissioned work for personal enjoyment but may not use it for commercial purposes without the artist's written consent. Posting images of the items purchased on social media is always welcome and does not breach this clause.

Replicas and Derivative Works

 

Creating replicas, reproductions, or derivative works based on Deanna M Cordova's original artwork, whether for personal or commercial use, is strictly prohibited without the artist's express written permission.

NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens)

 

The creation, sale, or distribution of the artwork as NFTs or any other blockchain-based tokens is expressly prohibited of Deanna M Cordova. This includes any attempt to tokenize the digital representation of the physical artwork.

Enforcement 

 

Deanna M Cordova reserves the right to take legal action against any individual or entity that violates these intellectual property rights. This may include seeking damages, injunctive relief, and legal fees.
