Q: How do I commission a portrait?
A: All custom portrait commissions must be submitted through my website. If someone contacts me on social media, I’ll kindly direct them to my site. That’s the only place I accept orders so everything stays organized and secure.
Q: What kind of photos do you need?
A: Clear, high-resolution photos taken in natural lighting work best! The more detail I can see, the better your portrait will turn out. If you’re unsure which photo to send, feel free to message me a few options and I’ll help you choose the best one.
Q: How long does it take to complete a commission?
A: It depends on my current schedule, but typically a portrait takes 1-2 weeks to complete once I start. I’ll always give you a time estimate when we confirm your order, and I’ll keep you updated on the progress.
Q: Do you offer revisions?
A: Minor edits can be made during the sketch stage before I start painting. Once the final piece is complete, I don’t usually make changes since watercolor isn’t easy to edit, but I always check in with you before I begin so you’re happy with the direction!
Q: Can I request specific sizes or backgrounds?
A: Yes! I offer a few standard sizes, but I can often accommodate special requests. If you want a specific background or something more stylized, just let me know and we’ll plan it out together.
Q: Can I request a portrait for something that isn’t a pet?
A: I paint all kinds of animals, not just pets. Whether it’s a beloved companion or your favorite wild animal, I’m happy to work with you on a meaningful portrait. I don’t paint people or objects, only animals.
Q: Can you draw from more than one photo?
A: Yes, I can work from multiple references as long as the images are clear and high quality. For example, if one photo shows the animal’s best expression and another captures the ideal pose or angle, I can piece them together into a composition you’ll love.
Q: Can you include more than one animal in a single portrait?
A: Yes! I can absolutely paint more than one animal in a portrait. However, please note that the time frame and pricing will change depending on the number of pets. The prices listed on my website cover one pet only, so be sure to contact me for a custom quote if you're looking to include multiple animals.
Q: How do I know what my portrait will look like?
A: Before I begin the final painting, I’ll send you a sketch so you can approve the layout and feel. I want you to love your portrait, so communication is a big part of my process!
📦Shipping & Fulfillment
Q: How long does it take to receive my original portrait once it's completed?
A: Once your portrait is finished, I typically ship it out within 2–3 business days. You’ll receive a tracking number as soon as it's on the way, and shipping times may vary depending on your location.
Q: Do you offer international shipping?
A: Yes, I do offer international shipping! Please note that I currently ship only to select countries. Delivery times will vary depending on your location and your country’s customs processing. Additional shipping costs may apply.

Q: How do you package original watercolor portraits for shipping?
A: Each original portrait is carefully packaged with protective sleeves and sturdy backing to keep it safe during transit. I take every precaution to make sure your artwork arrives in excellent condition.
Q: Do you provide tracking for orders?
A: Absolutely. Every order comes with a tracking number so you can keep an eye on your delivery from the moment it leaves my hands to when it arrives at your door.
Q: What happens if my package is lost or damaged during shipping?
A: I do my best to package everything securely, but if your order arrives damaged, please reach out to me within 3 days of delivery with photos of the packaging and artwork. If your package is lost, we’ll work together to file a claim and find the best solution.
Q: Can I upgrade to faster shipping?
In some cases, yes! If your order is being fulfilled directly by me (such as original paintings, handmade items, or locally shipped products), I may be able to offer Priority or Express shipping for an added fee. If you're in a rush, feel free to reach out before placing your order, and I’ll let you know what's possible based on the product and destination.
Please note: Orders fulfilled by third-party partners (like Printful or Printify) may have different shipping options that are preset and cannot be modified.
Print-On-Demand Products
Q: What types of products do you offer through print-on-demand?
A: I offer a curated selection of products featuring my original wildlife artwork, such as art prints, greeting cards, bookmarks, and a few apparel items. These are made-to-order and printed through trusted partners to ensure quality.
Q: Where are your print-on-demand items made and shipped from?
A: Most of my print-on-demand products are produced and shipped from the U.S. or locations closest to the buyer to help reduce shipping times and environmental impact. Fulfillment may vary depending on the product and your location.
Q: Do you personally sign or inspect the print-on-demand items before they ship?
A: No, I don’t physically handle these items, they are made and shipped directly by my production partners. Because of that, I’m unable to sign or personalize them. If you’re looking for something signed or more hands-on, check out my original artwork or commission options.
Q: Can I request customizations on print-on-demand items?
A: Print-on-demand items are pre-designed and made through third-party partners, so I’m not able to offer customizations on those products. If you're looking for something unique or tailored, a custom original might be a better fit.
Q: Are your print-on-demand items available internationally?
A: Yes! Most items are available to be shipped internationally, though availability and shipping times may vary depending on the product and country.
Returns & Cancellations
Q: Do you accept returns or exchanges?
A: Because of the nature of my products, especially custom and print-on-demand items, I don’t accept returns or exchanges. Each piece is made to order or uniquely created, so please double-check product details and sizing before placing your order.
Q: What if my order arrives damaged or something’s wrong?
A: If something arrives damaged, please contact me within 7 days of delivery with clear photos of the item and packaging. I’ll do my best to work with the print partner to get a replacement or find a solution for you.
Q: Can I cancel my order?
A: For print-on-demand items, once an order is in production, I can’t cancel it. For commissions, I allow cancellations only within the first 24 hours after payment. After that, I’ve likely started working on your piece.
Q: What if I need to change the shipping address after I placed the order?
A: Let me know as soon as possible. If the order hasn’t started production or shipped yet, I’ll do my best to update the address. Unfortunately, once it's in production or shipped, I can’t guarantee changes.

Q: Where can I shop for your work?
A: You can shop directly through my website, where I offer art prints, greeting cards, original paintings, and commission requests.
Q: Do you still have an Etsy shop?
A: No, my Etsy shop will be permanently closed after July 28th. Please shop exclusively through my website moving forward.
Q: Can I buy directly from you on social media?
A: No. I don’t accept sales or commissions through social media messages. If you’re interested in purchasing something, I’ll kindly direct you to my website to place an order.
Q: What if something I saw at an event or gallery isn’t listed online?
A: Feel free to reach out through the contact form on my website! Sometimes I have originals or small-batch items that aren’t listed yet.

Q: I can’t buy anything right now, is there another way to support your art?
A: Absolutely, and I appreciate the thought so much! Sharing my work with others, liking and commenting on posts, or tagging a friend who might enjoy my art makes a huge difference. Even a kind word goes a long way — thank you for being here!
Q: Do you have a tip jar or donation link?

Q: Do you offer prints of all your originals?
A: Not always. Some pieces are exclusive or limited, but I try to offer prints of most of my wildlife portraits and fan favorites. If there’s a specific piece you’re interested in, feel free to reach out! In some cases, especially if the print isn't currently offered in my shop, I may be able to make it available. In these situations, I do ask for payment up front, and I’ll first order a sample to be sent to me. Once I’ve confirmed the quality meets my standards, I’ll then ship your print to you. I want to ensure every piece I send out is something I’m proud of and that you’ll love.
Q: Can I commission you to recreate one of your older pieces?
A: It depends on the piece. If it’s something I’ve done before and can reasonably recreate, I’ll let you know. But I never duplicate a painting exactly — each one is handmade and will have its own personality.

For your safety and mine, I do not recommend reaching out through social media, there are too many impersonation scams out there.
